You might notice your jawline losing its edge or a shadow appearing under your chin that wasn't there last year. The typical fix used to be more filler, but we now know that adding volume to sagging skin usually just adds weight, leading to a puffy, unnatural profile. ZenTite is a departure from that. It is a regenerative method that uses internal heat to shrink-wrap the skin while feeding the tissue the nutrients it needs to heal itself.

What is ZenTite?

ZenTite is a minimally invasive skin-tightening protocol that combines internal radiofrequency (FaceTite) with biostimulators to contract loose tissue and restore skin density. Unlike surface-level treatments, ZenTite works beneath the dermis to shorten collagen fibers and trigger long-term cellular repair, resulting in a defined jawline without the bulk of traditional fillers.

What can ZenTite be used to treat?

ZenTite is specifically designed for the lower third of the face and the upper neck. This is where we see the most significant impact on a patient’s profile.

  • The Jawline: It defines the mandibular line by contracting the skin that has begun to jowl or hang.
  • Submental Fullness: It addresses the area under the chin by shrinking fat cells and tightening the skin envelope simultaneously.
  • Mid-Face Laxity: It restores structural support to the cheeks, reducing the appearance of nasolabial folds.
  • Skin Crepeiness: It improves the actual thickness of the skin on the neck and lower face.

How does ZenTite work?

We use a thin probe, about the thickness of a needle, inserted just under the skin. This probe delivers radiofrequency energy to the fibrous septa—the structural fibers that connect your skin to the deeper tissue. The heat causes these fibers to contract immediately.

Once the tightening is complete, we introduce biostimulators like Sculptra or Radiesse. This isn't for volume. Instead, these materials act as a scaffold, prompting your body to produce new, healthy collagen. You are essentially trading aging, stretched-out tissue for a denser, more resilient skin structure.

What are the benefits of ZenTite?

  • Internal Access: We can reach temperatures under the skin that would be impossible to apply to the surface, leading to much stronger contraction.
  • No Linear Scars: The procedure requires only tiny pokes that heal on their own without stitches.
  • Artistic Precision: Because we are using energy and your own biology, the result looks like a rested version of you, not a done version.
  • Office-Based: This is performed right here in our New Jersey office without the need for general anesthesia or a hospital stay.

Am I a candidate for ZenTite?

Good candidates

If you find yourself pulling the skin back toward your ears in the mirror, you are likely a fit. We see excellent results in patients with mild-to-moderate laxity who still have some skin snap. It is also the gold standard for patients experiencing the facial deflation that often follows significant weight loss.

Who is not a good fit?

Patients with very heavy, redundant neck skin or significant muscle banding in the neck may find ZenTite underwhelming. In those instances, Dr. DiBernardo or Dr. Trovato will be honest with you: a surgical lift is a more predictable investment.

How should I prepare for ZenTite?

  • Stop all blood-thinning supplements (fish oil, turmeric, garlic) for two weeks.
  • Avoid alcohol for 48 hours prior to your visit.
  • Hydrate significantly; energy-based treatments perform better when the tissue is well-hydrated.
  • If you have a history of cold sores, let us know so we can provide a prophylactic.

What is a ZenTite appointment like?

The experience is clinical and quiet. We begin by thoroughly numbing the area with local anesthesia. Most of my patients rate the discomfort at a 2/10; you might feel a warm sensation or a light vibration, but the area is effectively frozen.

The radiofrequency portion takes about 45 minutes. Dr. DiBernardo uses real-time temperature monitoring to ensure the skin reaches the exact heat required for contraction without over-treatment. We then inject the biostimulators into the treated space. You will leave with a light compression wrap that you’ll wear for the first day to help the skin settle into its new, tighter position.

Recovery after ZenTite

Immediate downtime

You are fine to go home immediately. You will feel a sensation of tightness in the jawline, and some mild tenderness is normal once the numbing wears off.

Social downtime

Plan for about three to five days of social downtime. You will look a bit swollen—similar to having dental work done—but this resolves quickly.

Skincare and Lifestyle restrictions

  • Makeup: Wait 24 hours before applying anything to the treatment area.
  • Exercise: No heavy lifting or high-intensity cardio for five days.
  • Sun: Use a physical-block SPF (zinc or titanium) for at least two weeks post-procedure.

Provider aftercare tips

Take a walk. Light movement helps your lymphatic system clear the initial swelling. Also, avoid extremely salty foods for the first few days to prevent additional fluid retention.

When will I see results from ZenTite?

There is an immediate wow factor as the heat shrinks the tissue, but that is only about 20% of the final result. The real change happens as your body builds new collagen over the next three to six months. This is when the jawline truly sharpens, and the skin feels firm to the touch.

How long do results last?

ZenTite results typically last several years. While we cannot stop time, we are resetting the clock by improving the biological density of your skin. Most patients find they don't need a touch-up for three to five years.

How many sessions will I need?

One. Unlike many medspa lasers that require a series of five or six visits, ZenTite is designed as a single, high-impact session.

ZenTite vs. Dermal Fillers

Fillers mask aging by inflating the skin. ZenTite treats aging by tightening it. If you feel like your face is getting wider or heavier with each filler appointment, you have likely reached the limit of what volume can do. ZenTite allows us to reduce that heaviness while still providing a lifted appearance.
