Sclerotherapy is one of the most common treatments for painful, unsightly varicose and spider veins. The procedure involves injections of sclerosing solution into the problem veins.
This solution causes the veins to collapse, close, and eventually disappear. Usually two or more sessions at one month intervals are required.
